Soluable fiber, like pectine, help decrease cholesterol, and unsoluable ones help support the intestines, a balanced carbohydrated absorption and keep us satiated for longer. Because of that, glucose spikes are less frequent and thus the risk of developing diabetes is decreased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Potassium: is found in small amounts in apples and it helps maintain a stable blood pressure, lessening the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
